PURPOSE:To form a prime mover which obtains one-way propelling force, by diagonally providing an axial line to a piston at a certain angle to the axial line of a cylinder and housing a pair of said pistons at a face-to-face position in said same cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pistons 3 are slidably housed in a cylinder 2, and each piston 3 is connected to connecting pins 6 through piston rods 4. At operation, for instance, if force F1 is applied to the piston 3 at the right side, the force F1 is acted upon a cylinder 1 through a piston pin 5, piston pin 4 and the connecting pin 6 to move the cylinder 1 in a direction A. In this way, component of force in a direction B is generated in the piston pin 5, in consequence, the whole unit of a device is moved in the directions of resultant force A, B. On the contrary, if force F1 in an opposite direction is applied to the both pistons 3, the device can be moved as a whole in a direction C. |
