PURPOSE:To make it possible to increase the coefficient of a flow rate at an intake hole together with the improvement of the compression efficiency of a compressor by providing an easily machinable cutout that penetrates a cylinder from the top to the underside thereof and improves the efficiency of air suction at the opening of the intake port. CONSTITUTION:An intake hole 3 is provided within a cylinder wall 2, and a cutout 6 which penetrates the cylinder 2 from the top to the underside thereof as shown in the drawing is provided at the end part of the intake hole 3. The contact 7 between the cutout 5 and the intake hole 3 is bevelled along with the end part 9 of the cutout. By this cutout 5, the flow of intake gas is as shown in the drawing permitting a smooth streamline to be obtained. Accordingly, since the coefficient of the flow rate of the intake hole 3, increases and as the cutout part 5 has a volume, said part acts as an accumulator to prevent the intake gas from being expanded to excess, allowing the compression efficiency of a compressor as well as the coefficient of the result of the operation thereof to be improved. |
