Aromatic copolyether ketones

The invention relates to aromatic polyether ketones prepared by polycondensation of terephthaloyl chloride and diphenyl ether in hydrogen fluoride as solvent in the presence of boron trifluoride as Friedel-Crafts catalyst. The monomer mixture contains from 20 to 50 % by weight of 4-phenoxybenzoyl chloride as the only comonomer. The copolyether ketones can be converted into high-temperature-resistant mouldings.
