BINARY CODING SYSTEM FOR ANALOG SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To achieve an effective binary coding of various objects by providing a profile emphasizing circuit for enhancing the rising and falling sections and a sector limiting circuit for extracting specific one from among a string of time- series signals. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of an image sensor 6 is inputted into a profile emphasizing circuit 16 comprising a differentiation circuit 13, a buffer amplifier 14 and a dual-wave rectifying circuit 15 via a waveform shaping circuit 12 inserted to remove noises caused by a sensor driving pulse or the like. The outputs thereof are binary coded with a comparator 8, binary coded outputs of which are inputted into a sector limiting circuit 8 composed of a distributor 9 and a window signal generator 17 thereby cutting off signals varying drastically.
