PURPOSE:To improve a measuring precision of agglutination, by a method wherein, in a reacting vessel for causing agglutination, the bottom of the reacting vessel is formed of an elastic member which can be deformed so that a slope is formed. CONSTITUTION:A reacting liquid 3 is housed in a reacting vessel 4, and is agitated by an agitating rod 7. An elastic body 5 is deformed by pressing it downward by means of the agitating rod 7 to form a slope. In which case, if agglomeration occurs, blood cells are coupled with each other, and thereby they do not slip down the slope but an even particle pattern is formed on a bottom. Meanwhile, in case no agglomeration occurs, the particles are not coupled, and they are individually separated, whereby they roll down over the slope and move to a lowermost part at a center. With the agitating rod 7 lifted quietly, the elastic body 5 is restored back to its original state to be flatened. The detection of a particle pattern formed on a bottom decides the presence of agglutination. |
