PURPOSE:To always keep the contact mated section clean while scattering foreign matters infiltrating into the perimeter of the section by having contact material of a fuel pump action switch made of an Ag-Cd-Ni triple alloy material containing metal of a low melting point. CONSTITUTION:Pump contacts 21a and 21b are caulked on a fuel pump action switches 20a and 20b. With the working of the pump contacts, an electrical signal is fed to a relay 23 to actuate a fuel pump 22. Here, the pump contacts 21a and 21b are made of a tertiary alloy containing Cd free from the generation of foreign matters by catalytic action of Pd, Pt or the like along with a low melting point. |
