DRAFTING METHOD OF FIBROUS BUNDLE AND DRAFTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To obtain a fibrous bundle with slight unevenness, by means of a controlling roller for holding and delivering the fibrous bundle provided on the peripheral surface of one of paired delivering rollers between the paired delivering rollers and paired rollers rotating at a higher speed than the paired delivering rollers. CONSTITUTION:In a drafting apparatus for taking off a fibrous bundle held and delivered at a holding point (X) between the middle top roller 16 and middle bottom roller 5 at a holding point (Y) between the front top roller 15 and front bottom roller 4 and drafting the taken off fibrous bundle, the middle top roller 16 is shifted to the front top roller 15 and front bottom roller 4, and a controlling roller 21 pressing the fibrous bundle to the front roller side of the middle top roller 16 by a holding pressure lower than that at either one of the holding points (X) and (Y) is provided to form a holding point (Z) thereon. The distance between the holding points (X) and (Y) is smaller than the maximal length of the fibers in the fibrous bundle.
