<p>The device (10) for securing articles above an outer surface of a vehicle and in relation to a closure element, such as a door (24, 24 min ) or trunk lid of the vehicle. The device comprises an arresting element (11) having connection means (12, 13) for detachable securement to an attaching member (14) whereby a portion of the attaching member (14) may be secured in a joint formed between the closure element (24, 24 min ) and a vehicle closure frame (23) with the attaching member (14) passing through the joint and the arresting element (11) fixedly secured to the attaching member (14) and being disposed internally of the vehicle.</p> |
