<p>Lime sand bricks of a white or off-white colour are manufactured by compressing into bricks a mixture comprising finely divided slaked lime, finely divided quartz sand and a white or off-white stone material which does not participate in the formation of the cementing medium of the brick and firing the compressed bricks under superatmospheric pressure. The white stone material may be limestone, dolomite or wollastonite.</p> |
