DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD IN TELEVISION BROADCAST

PURPOSE:To transmit a data signal without giving adverse effect on a video signal on the same channel, by providing the data signal for a horizontal synchronizing signal in a television video signal. CONSTITUTION:A data encoder 30 for data superimposition is inserted between an IF modulate circuit 20 and an up-converter 22. A peripheral device 32 for data keying is connected with a computer 33, the output of which is inputted to a data encoder 30. The data signals ae superimposed on the horizontal synchronizing signal in a television video signal. A main box 31 incorporated a decoder is inserted between a branch cable 9 and a television receiver 11 and a control box 12 is connected to the main box 31.
