PURPOSE:To prevent vibration, by installing the pivot of driving links on the line passing the center of gravity of a housing for containing a variable magnification exposure system. CONSTITUTION:A lens 10 is installed for changing magnification in a housing 28, the housing is moved up and down through links 26, 27 along guide shafts 37, 38 by moving up and down (arrow mark B) the nut 24 of a screw feeding mechanism using a magnification-changing motor 21, and the housing 28 is set at a prescribed magnification. The lens 10 is allowed to scan also in the direction A with a copy scanning means provided in the housing 28, and exposing a photoreceptor 17 to an optical original image through a slit. The axis G-G of the pin 35 connecting the free ends of the links 26, 27 and the housing 28 passes through the center of gravity of the housing 28, and the other pivot 29 of the links 26, 27 can slide on the guide members 43, 44, thus permitting balanced drive of the housing free of vibration to be executed without causing unnecessary moment. |
