PURPOSE:To improve insulation stability and reliability and to make a unit transformer compact and lightweight when a plurality of them are connected in parallel by a method wherein, by making the length of at least one section being at the same potential as that of a lead of the transformer winding less than the length of the other sections in the radial direction and providing a recess on the outside of that section, the lead is arranged in that recess. CONSTITUTION:By making the number of winding turns or strands on the section being roughly at the same potential as that of a lead 21d on the high tension side, for instance, over the two sections 22b31, 22b31, less than the number of winding turns or strands on the ohter sections, and by making the length of these two sections 22b31, 22b31 in the radial direction less than the length of the other sections, a recess 22f is formed along the circumferential direction in the section being roughly at the same potential as that of the lead 21d on the high tension side of the external windings 22b3 so as to arrange the lead 21d on the high tension side in the recess 22f by curving it in a semicircular shape. |
