PURPOSE:To enable to perform a high-sensitive analysis, by a method wherein a column, being filled with a filler of a sort equal to that of a filler, wherewith another column is filled, or having a polarity being very similar to that of the latier filler, is mounted between a reservoir and a mixer. CONSTITUTION:A liquid chromatograph consists of solvent reservoirs 1, 2, a gradient device 3, a mixer 4, a pump 5, a sample implanting device 6, a column 7, and a detector 8. A trap column 9, being filled with a filler being of a sort equal to that of a filler, wherewith the column 7 is filled, and having a polarity being very similar to that of the latter filler, is situated between the solvent reservoir 1 and the mixer 4. This absorbs all impurities in water passing through trap column 9, and the source of an abnormal shift of a base line is removed. |
