<p>PURPOSE:To obtain uniform and fine matrix powder whose reaction temperature is low and whose reaction period of time is long, by using metal alcoxide as the starting material. CONSTITUTION:To each 1mol of distillation-purified lithium t-butoxide and 1mol of aluminum t-butoxide, 1mol of water is added respectively. Each solution is agitated thoroughly at an ordinary temperature, then appropriate viscosity is generated. Furthermore, 10mols of water are added to each solution respectively in order to obtain sol. Next, the Al-sol solution is added into the Li-sol solution to make a mixture, which is agitated for 3hr in order to produce enough hydroxide. Said hydroxide is placed into a drying oven kept at 120 deg.C to remove its moisture. The resulting dried product is maintained at 500 deg.C for 10hr to obtain its burnt oxide, namely lithium aluminate (LiAlO2). The specific surface area of thus obtained oxide is 2 times as large as that of the conventional product.</p> |
