ALIGNMENT DEVICES FOR REMOVABLE SPARK PLUG TERMINALS IN AN IGNITION COMMUTATION DISTRIBUTOR

An electrical distributor for an internal combustion engine is provided with alignment devices which are an integral part of the distributor structure and that functions to position fully seated, reversably mounted spark plug terminals for sequential commutation by a roter electrode within the distributor. Wrongful insertion and seating of a first type of terminal into an aperture designed for acceptance of another type is prevented.
