PURPOSE:To prevent quick abrasion of a carrying equiment, by shifting stepwise a speed signal which is switched after the tip of a carrying steel plate has arrived at a winder, in accordance with the tip position of the steel plate, and slowly varying it to a lagging speed from a leading speed. CONSTITUTION:VA1 is derived as a leading amount of the first carrying roller from a rolling speed V0 in case when the tail end of a steel plate passes through a rolling mill, which is obtained from a carrying speed generator 1 of a carrying equipment, a correcting coefficient K1 derived by a function generator 7 from a distance L1 between the tip of the steel plate and a winder, and leading rate A1. When the tip of the steel plate reaches the winder, the carrying speed is switched to a lagging speed signal from a leading speed signal by a switch 6. A lagging amount VB1 is derived by a correcting coefficient K2 which has been derived by inputting L2 by which the steel plate has run, after the tip of the steel plate has arrived at the winder. Control of said carrying speed is executed to carrying rollers 1-(n), respectively. |
