PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency by printing the results of addition before an adding section overflows when said section overflows. CONSTITUTION:The data S1 relating to weights and prices outputted from a calculator is added in order of inputting in an adding section 1. Whether the results thereof exceed the number of digits in the adding section or not is judged and if ''NO'', the addition is repeated further. If ''YES'', a printing command is emitted to a printer 2, which prints the results of the addition up to the added data before the overflow. In a storage section 14 such as register, the results of addition up to the addition data before the overflow are stored and when there is the printing command, the results are printed as they are. Thereafter the data remaining in the printer 2 and the section 1 are cleared. An addition command is emitted to the section 1 to resume the addition from the overflowed data and thereafter the same operations are repeated. |
