PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an external memory circuit as well as permit high-speed printing by a method in which one-way directed elements are arranged one apart in an inversely directed manner and each stage of shift register is connected to a picture signal input lead through a picture signal input gate. CONSTITUTION:One-way directed elements 5 are arranged one apart in an inversely directed manner, one ends of them are connected through a common connecting line to the collector end of a power supply switching transistor 12, and the other ends of them are connected correspondingly to each heating element 2. One end of a picture signal input lead group 4 is connected to a heating element row 2, and the other end is connected to the common section for the emitter and collector of a switching transistor row 11. Also, the stages 7-1- 7-7 of a shift register 7 having stages for one line are connected through the picture signal input gate 6 to the picture signal input lead 4. |
