Then, X.Y coordinate calculating circuits 4 and 5 input data on the center coordinates (x0, y0) set in the register 6 and the primary coordinate conversion coefficient set in the register 7, and also inputs a variable from the control unit 3 to calculate position coordinates (X, y) having geometric distortion compensated, specifying an address of an output picture memory 2.
