PURPOSE:To enable the detection of erroneous operations by a driving circuit, solenoid coils, a power source, etc. by detecting a current flowing through the solenoid coils, and comparing the same with a reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:Diodes D1-D4 are connected to solenoid coils L1-L4 on the driving-circuit sides thereof, respectively, while each diode is connected on one side to a common output line VO. On the other hand, a capacitor CT to which a resistor RT is connected in parallel is connected between the common output line VO and the power source VSOL of the solenoids. That is, the magnetic energy of the solenoids is accumulated in the capacitor CT and then supplied to the power source VSOL through the resistor RT. A voltage VO generated at both ends of the capacitor CT is compared with a reference voltage VS at a comparator CMP. Since a current flowing through the solenoid coils is detected in this way, erroneous operations by the driving circuit, the solenoid coils, the power source, etc. can be detected. |
