PURPOSE:To eliminate erroneous records to be possible made by a recorder through such an arrangement wherein an ink storage is directly provided at the upper position of an ink jet head, and an air chamber is provided at the upper section of the ink storage and air bubbles inside the head are caused to move into the air chamber as soon as possible. CONSTITUTION:An ink storage tank 103 is mounted on a long ink jet head 101 wherein multi orifices (ink jet) 112 arranged in line. This tank 103 shall be a hermetically sealed container and ink 107 is stored in its lower section and its upper section shall be an air chamber 110. A joint needle 109 is inserted into a rubber stop 108 of high recoverability provided at one end of an ink storage cartridge 106 storing ink 107 therein, and the cartridge 106 is interconnected to the tank 103 whereby ink 107 can be supplied to the tank 103 from the cartridge 106. |
