A foamed plastics elongated slab for building floors, ceilings and the like comprises reinforcing members constituted by vertical sheet metal sections 1, 2, 3 extending lengthwise of the slab and transverse wires 4 connecting the sheet metal sections. The sections 1, 2, 3 may have horizontal flanges to which the wires 4 are welded. The wires 4 may be interconnected also by longitudinal wires 5. The sides of the slab, which may be narrower than the faces extending therebetween, may be formed by sheet metal sections 1, 2.</p> |
