PURPOSE:To perform down line loading smoothly and to improve the efficiency of use of a circuit, by previously storing various programs and various preset data classified by POS terminals in the memory of a store central processing unit. CONSTITUTION:In the RAM (15a) in a store central processing unit, a table (15c) of program NOs (15e) and preset data NOs (15f) by PEGNOs (or IDNO) (15d) of POS terminals is set previously. In response to a down line loading request from a POS terminal, the store central processing unit performs the down line loading of data corresponding to a program NO and preset data NO in the PEGNO table. Thus, the POS terminal judges what data among various data is transmitted automatically to the store central processor, improving the efficiency of use of a circuit. |
