PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity especially in a low-humidity environment and durability, by providing an undercoat layer contg. a (meth)acrylate (co)polymer and a conductive polymer between a conductive layer and a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A (meth)acrylate monomer is polymerized alone or with a copolymerizable monomer, such as styrene or vinyl acetate, to give a (meth)acrylate (co)polymer, and the obtained (co)polymer is mixed with 1-30wt% conductive polymer, for which anionic, cationic, and betaine type polymers are used, and especially an acrylic polymer having a betaine structure is suitable. The obtained mixed polymers are used for coating a substrate of stainless steel to form an undercoat layer, and an intended electrophotographic receptor is obtained by successively laminating a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer on the undercoat layer. |
