PURPOSE:To improve operability by feeding a microfilm in such a direction that a tail frame mark of a frame group wherein information to be copied is recorded is detected, stopping the feeding when the tail frame mark is detected, and starting copying operation at the tail frame of the frame group. CONSTITUTION:On a microfilm 11, frame marks MK corresponding to respective frames K in different lengthwise arrays with a shift in widthwise position in such a way that a head frame MC correspond to the head frame of each frame group KG and a tail frame mark MD corresponds to the tail frame in each frame group KG. This microfilm 11 provided with the tail frame mark MD as mentioned above is used to copy a desired information group. In this case, the microfilm 11 is fed in such a direction that the tail frame mark MD of a frame group KG where information to be copied is recorded is detected and once the trail frame mark MD is detected, the feeding is stopped to start copying operation immediately at the tail frame of the frame group. |
