PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and to improve the performance of durability tests by applying the load upon a buffer by means of an oil hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:One end of a buffer 4 which is an elastic system apparatus to be subjected to test is fixed to a base and load is exerted upon the other end by the movable part of an oil hydraulic cylinder 3. A speed detector 5 is provided in the movable part of the cylinder 3 or the buffer 4 and detects the deflecting speed of the buffer 4. A load detector 6 is provided to the stationary end of the buffer 4 and detects the load generated in the buffer 4. The load detected with said detector is divided by the mass set under the test conditions and is integrated with time. A servocontrol valve 2 is driven by the error signal between the signal for the difference between the value obtd. by said integration and the initial speed set under the test conditions and the speed signal from the detector 5. |
