A piezoelectric resonance component which in view of an equivalent circuit comprises a series arm formed by one or more resonators (Xsl. . . Xsn) connected in series between input and output ends and one or more parallel arms including resonators (Xpl. . . Xp(n-l)) connected to the series arm. The resonators (Xsl. . . Xsn) of the series arm are connected in parallel with parallel damping resistors (Rsl. . . Rsn). The resonators (Xpl. . . Xp(n-l)) of the parallel arms are connected in series with series damping resistors (Rpl. . . Rp(n-l)).
