PURPOSE:To allow a car compressor to work with its intended performance stably, even when the microgap between cylinder and rotor has variation to a certain extent, by arranging a movable sealing plate, which is in contact with the rotor at all times and possible to come out and hide freely, at the part of cylinder situated near the rotor. CONSTITUTION:In a cylinder 1, a movable sealing plate 14, which is energized by a spring 13 so as to be in contact always with the rotor 2, is arranged in a groove 12 provided in the neighborhood of the axial clearance 3 adjacent to the rotor 2, whereby the compression chamber 9 side and suction chamber 8 side are sealed. Accordingly rise of the discharge temperature owing to leak-in of high temp. refrigerant gas can be prevented as well as accuracy requirement in setting the axial clearance 3 at the time of assembly can be relieved. This movable sealing plate 14 shall preferably be made of a material with excellency in resistance against heat, abrasion and pressure. |
