PURPOSE:To transmit a plurality of light signals at a high speed in high efficiency by arranging a plurality of P-N-P-N type junction negative resistance light emitting elements, converting quantity of light varying independently via a light combining circuit having a function for condensing the light to a or a plurality of optical fibers radiated from the light emitting element into a light pulse and transmitting the light via wavelength multiplex via a or a plurality of optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting wavelength arrays different negative resistance characteristic light emitting elements 11, 12...1n, CR circuits are respectively added to the light emiting elements, and a light pulse corresponding to the emitting intensity is generated from each light emitting element. The wavelength of the emitted light and the wavelength of the light emitted from each element are not necessarily the same, and the wavelengths are selected to the received light wavelength as a color sensor and the optimum wavelength as the optical fiber. Then, the light pulse emitted from the light emitting element array 1 is condensed via a condensing lens, through a light combining circuit 2 and a condensing lens 6 into an optical fiber 7. |
