PURPOSE:To save power for compression and reduce the cooling load of a cooling tower by a constitution wherein the cooling water cooled by passing through a cleaning tower, evaporating and cooling tower is fed to cool the raw air in the title re-cooling apparatus for an air separating device. CONSTITUTION:The cooling water, cooling the raw air from the last stage 1d of the raw air compressor by a rinsing cooling tower 3, is introduced into a cooling tower 6 through a pipeline 10 while the same cooling it by inter coolers 2a-2c is introduced into the same tower 6 through the pipeline 9. Subsequently, the cooling water is fed by a pump 5b to the evaporating and cooling tower 4 through a pipeline 7 and is cooled by impure nitrogen from the air separating device. Next, a part of it is sent by the pump 5a to the rinsing cooling tower 3 while the balance of it is sent to the inter coolers 2a-2c, and each of it cools the compressed raw air in the last stage 1d and respective stages 1a-1c. According to this constitution, the cooling of the raw air may be improved, the power for compression in the compressor may be saved and the cooling load of the rinsing cooling tower as well as the evaporating and cooling tower may be reduced. |
