PURPOSE:To simplify construction of a pump with inducer by making communication with the inlet and outlet of the inducer through a passage excavated in the drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:The incoming and outgoing sides of this inducer 3 are in communication through a passage 5 excavated in the drive shaft 4. This passage 5 is formed by a hole 5A excavated from the shaft end on the inducer side 3 till the point in the middle between inducer 3 and main impeller 2, stretching along the axis, and by two or more holes 5B excavated from the end of said hole 5A stretching in the radial direction. The flow in this inducer 3 will become the pump discharge added with a leak in the direction from the outlet to inlet of the inducer 3, so that no vibration nor cabitation errosion will be generated to contribute to make the construction simple. |
