PURPOSE:To high efficiently displace a delivery control valve in a distributor type fuel injection pump, by providing a control circuit in which a high frequency vibrator pressed to the control valve is turned ON and OFF to control a position of said valve. CONSTITUTION:To control the position of a deleively control valve 19 opening and closing a relief passage 13 of a plunger 16, a high frequency vibrator 56 is provided. A vibrating element 58 is pressed at a fixed angle theta for an axial line of the plunger 16. A control circuit 45 controls high frequency voltage applied to the vibrator 56 to control the position of said valve 19. A detected value or the like of a position sensor 29 of said valve 19 is fed back to the circuit 45. In this way, a mechanism can be simplified and formed to small size and light weight. While efficiency of conversion from an electric energy given to the vibrator 56 to kinetic energy displacing the control valve 19 can be increased. |
