PURPOSE:To prevent the color beat interference securely, and obtain a image pickup system with a high quality and a high reliability by setting the density and the angle of a mesh electrode and stripe filters in such a manner that beats are at a specified angle to horizontal scanning lines. CONSTITUTION:The pitch of beats generated among mesh-line groups 1 and 2, a scanning line group 5 and stripe filter groups 6 and 7, which work as frequency elements, is represented by Pb; the cross angle of the beats to the scanning line group 5, by thetab; the pitch of the stripe filter groups 6 and 7, by Ps; the cross angle of the groups 6 and 7 to the scanning line groups 5, by thetas; the color carrier wave frequency produced by the filter groups 6 and 7, by Fs; and the width of the color carrier wave separation band area in a camera circuit, by + or -f. The frequency (F) produced by above beats in horizontal scanning is represented by the equation (I). The beats are harmful when the equation (I) satisfies the inequality (II) within the range of the equation (III). Therefore, the density and the angle of the filter groups 6 and 7 are set by either avoiding the condition of the equation (II), or avoiding the condition of the equation (III) within the range satisfying the equation (II). As a result, any color beat can be almost securely prevented. |
