摘要 PURPOSE:To form a phosphor screen without any color mixture by forming a phosphor film and then making fine powder adhere onto the phosphor film before the subsequent portion of phosphor film formation is exposed when the phosphor screen is formed by the optical adhesion method. CONSTITUTION:After an optical adhesive photosensitive film is formed on the inner surface of the face plate 1 of a picture tube and the first colored phosphor film 2 and the second colored phosphor film 3 are formed by repeating exposure, phosphor application, and development, a transparent powder body 4 that has a smaller granular diameter than the phosphor powder is applied. Then, the powder body 4 is filled between the phosphor powders of the second colored phosphor film 3 by rocking the face plate 1 and the excessive powder body 4 is removed by the high pressure air. Subsequently, the third colored phosphor film is formed by performing the exposure of the third colored phosphor, allowing the optical adhesive photosensitive film to reveal adhesion, applying the phosphor, and developing it. As a result, a good phosphor screen without any color mixture can be obtained.
