PURPOSE:To prevent an extracting pipe from being clogged due to desulfurizer being solidified in the pipe, by heating the medium in said pipe high above the predetermined temperature by providing a heating device to the extracting pipe, in the titled apparatus having an extracting pipe to draw off fluidized medium which contains hygroscopic desulfurizer. CONSTITUTION:In the titled fluidized bed combustion apparatus, a fluidized bed 3, having a medium which contains desulfurizer such as quick lime for the purpose of desulfurization, is formed on a porous plate 2 provided in the lower part of a boiler body 1, and an extracting pipe 7 is provided to the fluidized bed 3 to extract the medium from the bed, interposed by a valve 8. The extracting pipe 7 can be heated by providing an electric heating jacket 9 as a heating device in the neighborhood of a valve 8 which is fitted to the external periphery of an extracting pipe 7, and on the upstream side of the valve 8. The temperature to heat the extracting pipe 7 is maintained above 60 deg.C, which is the temperature so that the quick lime cannot turn into slaked lime by absorbing moisture. With such an arrangement, the extracting pipe 7 can be prevented from being clogged, because desulfurizer in residual medium in the pipe 7 is solidified. |
