<p>In the method of separating carbide particles from the mixture of fines in discharge from the coal-combustion direct-reduction procedure in upper direction, the above-mentioned fine mixtures are influxed into the air flow, so that carbide particles are moved upward with air flow, and other heavy particles fall downward by gravity. The rate of air flow and convection activity in the range where particle mixtures are introduced os controlled and heavy particles falling downward are received and light carbide particles are removed and collected from the air flow by low efficiency cyclone.</p> |
