<p>A foundry plant for producing railway wheels has two pouring tanks at a pouring station to allow uninterrupted filling of moulds by upward pressure casting, and a conveyor system downstream of the pouring station which allows for vertical movement of differently sized wheels. Cleaning, heat-treatment, fettling, ultrasonic testing are among processes which can be carried out on the wheels in the plant.</p> |
