PURPOSE:To raise sensitivity and to lower residual potential, by adding a specified diazepin derivative to a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:Diazepin derivatives are represented by general formulae (I), (II), and (III) in which R1, R2, R3 are optionally substd. aryl or styryl; R4 is optionally substd. alkyl or aryl, and it is added to the carrier transfer layer formed on a conductive substrate as a carrier transfer substance, and a carrier generating layer is laminated on this layer to obtain an electrophotographic receptor. The low mol.wt. org. photoconductive compd. is comparatively low in compatibility with a binder, but the derivatives are high in compatibility, stable against heat and light, and superior in carrier transfer performance. |
