PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacturing of a bath heater by a method wherein a case, provided with a rising part at the periphery of the opening thereof, and a lid, provided with a rib corresponding to the rising part above-described, are connccted in the bath heater to be provided at the outer surface of the side wall of a bathtub. CONSTITUTION:In case of heating the water of a bath, the water in the bathtub enters from an inlet port 7 provided at the lower part of the bath heater and the temperature thereof is risen by receiving heat from a heat medium pipe 4, thereafter, the water is recirculated into the bathtub through an outlet port 8 provided at the higher part of the heater. In this case, the outer cell of the bath heater is formed by a case 10 and a lid 11 thereof while an adaptor 13 and a packing 14 for the heat medium pipe 4 are inserted from the inside of the lid 11 and attached to an attaching hole 12 for the heat pipe 4 formed on the lid 11. On the outer hand, a nut 15 is screwed to the heat medium pipe 4 projected from the outside of the lid 11 and clamped so as to pinch the lid 11. The rib 19 provided on the lid 11 is connected to the rising part 18 provided at the peripery of the opening of the case 16 and corresponding to the rib 19. |
