PURPOSE:To give heat to a toner efficiently, by using materials having a specific thermal conductivity as materials of a belt supporting roller and a press roller. CONSTITUTION:A roller 14, which is placed on the inside of a belt-shaped intermediate transfer material 8 and supports this belt, and a roller 15 which is placed on the outside of this belt and is pressed to said supporting roller 14 through this belt are provided. In the supporting roller 14, a metallic roller 16 is covered with a coating layer 17 having 10<-3>-10<-5>cal/cm.sec.deg thermal conductivity. A polyester, a polycarbonate, a polysulfide, a polyeter, or the like is used as materials of this coating layer 17. A heat source 18 is provided. The press roller 15 is constituted similarly to the supporting roller 14, and a metallic roller 19 is covered with a coating layer 20 having 10<-3>-10<-5>cal/cm.sec.deg thermal conductivity, and a heat source 21 is provided. |
