PURPOSE:To contrive to push back the returning oil which has been collected in the annular groove into the oil chamber by using the sealing air pressure in such a way that an oil path for communicating to an oil chamber is provided on the bottom side of an annular groove of a retainer which has been installed in the center of a labyrinth. CONSTITUTION:An oil path 9 is provided between the bottom side of an annular groove 4 of a retainer 3 and an oil chamber 6, the annular groove 4 and the oil chamber 6 are communicated to each other, sectional area of the oil path 9 is made smaller by the miniute sectional area of annular clearance which is formed by a labyrinth seal 2 and the retainer 3. As the result, even if oil or oil mist in the oil chamber 6 is flowed through the inside part 2a of labyrinth seal and the inside part 3a of the inner circumferential side of the retainer into the annular groove 4, when operation of the device is stopped or in operation, it is pushed back through the oil path 9 into the oil chamber 6 by the pressure of sealing air to be injected through an air feeding port 5 into the annular groove 4. |
