<p>The appts. has a reflector, placed in the open air without a protective glass, formed as a half parabola, with a heat absorbing element placed on the axis of symmetry of the half-parabola. The lower generating tube is placed at the focus of the reflector and vanes are placed to absorb the rays reflected onto the focus. A tracking system using two photoresistors placed above the edge of collector tube is used to control the orientation of the collector to maximise energy gathered. An emergency system provides for continuation of the working fluid circulation during the time in which the collector is turned away from the sun in the event of failure of the electric supply, and an automatic restart is provided despite the non-restoration of the electric supply.</p> |
