Cleaner for boiler smoke tubes - has pipe assembly which rotates and feeds pressurised air or steam to smoke tubes

The tubes to be cleaned (1a,1b,1c) are fitted in concentric circles. Near their ends are air or steam blowing pipes (3a,3b,3c) carried on a support (5). This support is rotated by a stepping motor (17) so that each blower pipe comes, in turn, opposite the smoke tubes. The ends of the blower tubes (4) are straight and parallel to the axes of the smoke tubes. Each blower tube is controlled by a separate valve (7). A programmer controls rotation so that the blower tubes meet the smoke tubes and stop for a preset time.
