PURPOSE:To ensure the accurate decision for the genuineness of a seal impression, by cutting both marks of a stored registered seal and the print of a seal to be collated at a desired position to synthesize the parts opposite to each other for display and checking visually the continuance of the junction part. CONSTITUTION:A seal to be collated is scanned and held at an input seal holding part 2, and at the same time the image of a seal which is registered to a file is called out and held at a registered seal holding part 1. Then a cut line indicating part 6 indicates the form and position of a desired cut line, and the images held at the parts 1 and 2 are cut via a display control part 3. The cut line (right ascending 45 deg. line passing the center in the diagram) is held to synthesize both marks at a display memory 5 and then magnified and displayed at a display part CRT. Then the visual checking is given to the continuance of the junction parts of both prints of seals. This visual checking is repeated by varying the form and position of the cut line when necessary. In such way, the accurate collation is possible for a seal regardless of the difference of amount of the seal ink. |
