PURPOSE:To obtain the equilibrium modulation element, the number of elements thereof is small with little strain extending over the wide amplitude ranges of modulation input and input to be modulated, by modulating the second signal supplied to a source electrode by the first signal supplied to a coil conductor and outputting the second signal to a drain electrode. CONSTITUTION:A bias power supply 60 is connected to the drain electrodes 1, 2 through load resistors 80, 81, a proper bias power supply 61 is applied to a gate electrode 10 and a Y-shaped conducting path is formed in a modulation circuit using the equilibrium modulation element 100. A modulation signal source 62 is connected to the conductors 30, 31, supplies modulation currents between the conductors 30, 31 and generates a modulation magnetic field. A modulated signal source 63 is connected to the source electrode 3, and changes the currents of the drain 1 and the drain 2, and modulation output can be obtained in voltage form in output terminals 82, 83. |
