1,085,030. Winding bobbins. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK A.G. Dec. 17, 1964 [Dec. 24, 1963], No. 51406/64. Heading D1J. A machine of the kind in which several filaments 4 and 5 are produced by a melt or dry spinning process and issue from a spinning shaft 1, is characterized in that a row of said shafts 1 and the take-off rollers 6, 7 therefor are arranged in a single row beneath which there are two separate rows of winding stations which are arranged opposite to each other and are separately driven. As shown the filaments pass over moistening and dressing discs 2, 3 on one side of the machine, and are wound up as packages 13, 14 on each side of the machine. The packages may be driven by rollers 17, 26. The bobbin spindles may also be individually driven by additional auxiliary drives to protect and relieve the surface of the cop packages. The transverse means comprises a pair of forked guides 18, 27 reciprocated by cam means 20, 29 running in a grooved drum 22. To facilitate the separate placing of the filaments 4 and 5 on opposite bobbins 13 and 14 at the start of spinning, a known drop roller on to which the filaments run may be arranged at the lower end of the panel 10, or, as shown, a filament suction device of known construction with compressed air duct 31 and suction aperture 32 for introducing the filaments may be provided. |
