PURPOSE:To easily maintain and control a titled mixer, by installing a drum having a hollow truncated-cone shape so that its axial center line is horizontal, and supporting the drum by horizontally arranged supporting rollers through supporting annular bodies attached to the outer circumference of the drum. CONSTITUTION:Plural supporting annular bodies 24 are fitted to the outer circumference of a hollow truncated-cone-shaped drum 21 having a small diametral opening end as a raw material charging port 22 and a large diametral opening end as a discharging port 23; the drum 21 is supported, so that its axial center line is horizontal, by supporting rollers 25, arranged horizontally corresponding to respecive annular bodies 24, through the bodies 24. Accordingly the rollers 25 receive only the radial loads and scarecely the thrust loads, consequently, the need for adjusting the setting angle of the rollers 25 is eliminated, and scarcely any troubles about bearings for supporting the rollers 25 occur, moreover, the need of thrust rollers required conventionaly is eliminated and the construction is simplified. |
