<p>A series of detectors give data on the object to pass through the door and the controller processes this data and energises the electric motor (6) driving the doors to open them to the required extent. The controller then generates signals authorising passage. If a fault is detected in the operating sequence, audible and visual alarms are activated. A variety of transducers - mechanical, optical, electronic, induction - may be used in regulating the door position. The controller is also provided with a printer to permit continuous verification of the conformity of each order received and its necessity, and maintain a record of activities.</p> |
