<p>PURPOSE:To prevent filler from cracking by a method wherein the filler utilized in resin compound of a stabilizer for discharge lamp selected as mixture comprised of glass filler made of spherical glass and inorganic macadam base filler. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer element 7 comprising iron core 5 and coil 6 is installed in case 1 with its loaded wire 8 inserted into the end plate 3 while resin compound 11 containing filler 10 is filled from the opening 9 side of said case embedding and fixing said stabilizer element 7. Said filler 10 is formed of glass filler 12 made of spherical glass beads and macadam base filler 15 made of inorganic materials such as mica, clay, silica, quartz powder and calsium carbonate etc. By means of selecting said fixture as said filler 10, fluidity, workability, thermal conductivity and cooling effect may be improved without any cracking due to the macadam base filler with rough surface regardless of any thermal expansion and the like.</p> |
