PURPOSE:To line the inside of a molten metal vessel with refractory heat insulating materials efficiently by installing a core in said vessel by maintaining the cavity for the thickness of a lining layer, and blowing a mixture contg. aggregate, a self-curing resin and a curing agent in said cavity. CONSTITUTION:A core is provided in a molten metal vessel by creating a cavity from the wall of the vessel, and a mixture of aggregate of refratories of grain sizes such as silica, silica sand, or the like, a self-curing resin and a curing agent is packed by compressed air into the cavity. After the packing, the core is removed and the surface of the lining layer is heated to cure the lining layer. The mixture is prepd. by mixing the self-curing resin and the curing agent at the intermediate of a feed tank and a nozzle. |
